Twitter and the Classroom

Personally I dont like the use of twitter. As a teacher I would rather have students use a program such as google docs or blogger.

Google Docs

I think this is a great tool especially for college kids. I have a group assignment due the following Monday after Spring Break and non of our group memebers will be in the same town. I suggested using google docs this way we will all be able to share our documents and any other information regaurding the assignment. I think it would be useful to introduce this tool to students in high school. Very cool!

Wiki's

Throughout the course we have been experimenting with wiki's and blogs. Personally I would rather use the blogs than a wiki. I understand that the wiki is convienent because people can access it and change information, but I feel that the blogs are more personal. It reflects the person I am better than the wiki. :)
